Full House

Another Song Hye Kyo's successful Korean drama is Full House. I was aired on GMA, occupying the primetime slot. Aside from Song Hye Kyo, Rain is also one of the main cast members. If I'm not mistaken, this is Rain's first successful lead role. Another two-digit rating based on the survey here and abroad.

Plot: Han Ji-eun (Song Hye-kyo), an aspiring scriptwriter, lives in a house called "Full House" built by her late father. One day, her two best friends trick her into believing that she has won a free vacation. While she is away, they sell her house. On the plane, she meets a famous actor named Lee Young-jae (Rain).

This is just a feel-good drama. Its genre is a romantic-comedy composed of 16 episodes. Their banters are quite cute. If there are drama scenes, it's not heavy as it seems because there is still a touch of comedy. Visually speaking, they all look good. Aside from Song Hye-kyo and Rain, Kim Sung-soo and Han Eun-jung joined the cast members.

As expected, Rain and Song Hye Kyo won several awards in KBS Drama awards. Check the list of awards at wikipedia.org.

In 2009, they made an adaptation portrayed by Heart Evangelista (Jenny) and Richard Gutierrez.

When it was aired in the Philippines, Janno Gibbs sang the soundtrack entitled "Fallin'". This is also used when they show the Philippine adaptation.

Look forward to the scene wherein Han Ji-eun sang a song about three bears... This is so funny.
